Richard Williamson, a Former Apple Employee Now Working at Facebook.

Facebook re-recruited other former company officials to strengthen the company's technology. This time digaet is someone who used to deal with Apple Maps, Richard Williamson.


Richard Williamson has joined Facebook in the last few weeks. He is reported to be the team's manager in mobile software.
He is one engineer assigned Steve Jobs to build the software on the iPhone, it is also responsible for mapping service on the iPhone and iPad. However, Williamson had voluntarily dismissed Apple after its mapping products reaping a lot of criticism.

Williamson now joined facebook with another Apple alumnus, including Greg Novick, Mike Matas and Kimon Tsinteris and others.

Facebook Messenger - Facebook has recently released a new update for his messaging app on the iOS operating system. This update is similar to the version that has been released for Android. For Android, Facebook released a messaging application updates it on 20 September. Quoted from TechRadar, Monday (01/10/2012), the most important change in this update is a feature that allows users of the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to rub into the left side in order to see contacts are online and available. Other existing updates allows users to save favorite fella at the top of the list online. This method minimizes the need for scrolling through the list of contacts. Incoming messages are now displayed as a bubble conversation similar to the messages application on iOS, making it look more attractive. In addition, the new version of messaging applications have been optimized for the large screen of the iPhone 5, as well as an increase in the speed and bug fixes.
